A (partial) list of the 300 SDL's repairs and upgrades:
Engine compartment:
  -  New motor mounts.
  
 -  New water pump.
  
 -  New thermostat(s).
  
 -  New belt.
  
 -  New fan clutch and fan.
  
 -  Three new glow plugs (over time).
  
 -  New glow plug fuse.
  
 -  Replaced monovalve insert.
  
 -  New timing chain, guides, and tensioner.
  
 -  New expansion valve.
  
 -  Recharged A/C (thrice).
  
 -  New starter.
  
 -  New belt tensioner and idler pulley.
  
 -  Another new belt tensioner bearing.
  
 -  Re-attached crank pulley (loose!).
  
 -  Replaced broken tensioner spring.
 
Body:
  -  Correctly wired trunk lamp, stopped blowing fuses.
  
 -  New (used) rear subframe.
  
 -  New antenna mast.
  
 -  New spare wheel to replace broken (!) one.
  
 -  New rear shock absorbers.
  
 -  Re-sealed rear lights to trunk.
  
 -  New filler neck grommet.
  
 -  Worked on trunk seal.
  
 -  Sealed rear window with RTV.
  
 -  Properly routed RR sunroof drain to outside the trunk.
  
 -  Rebuilt central locking pump-to-motor coupling.
  
 -  Repaired trunk lock actuator.
  
 -  Reconnected trunk locking actuator hosing.
  
 -  Replaced broken RR window lift slider.
  
 -  New passenger-side mirror to fix self-heating function.
  
 -  Patched rear noise panel.
  
 -  Fabricated new front noise panel.
  
 -  Installed keyless entry system.
  
 -  New rear bumper and back-end bodywork and paint, courtesy
       of an inattentive driver and his insurance company.  Two new tail
       lights, too.
  
 -  More back-end bodywork and paint, courtesy of an inattentive deer
       and our pocket money.  (Wife got T-boned by a buck at night.  Paintless
       dent removal took care of the front fender and the two doors, but the
       rear quarter was heavily dented.  The mirror and [new!] tail light were
       also broken.  Stupid deer!  More than $500 and we didn't even get any
       venison out of the deal.)
  
 -  New driver-side mirror (deer).
  
 -  Glued up grille (dog).
  
 -  Replaced trunk lock actuator with good used.
  
 -  Replaced LHS tail light with good used.
 
Cabin:
  -  Cleaned & oiled the seats with Leatherique.
  
 -  Lubricated aspirator motor (twice).
  
 -  Reconnected cabin temperature sensor to aspirator hose.
  
 -  Replaced rear reading lamps with correct ones.
  
 -  Installed cupholder in place of old cell phone.
  
 -  Installed additional front footwell courtesy lights.
  
 -  Resoldered cruise control.
  
 -  Replaced combination switch.  (Flakey low beams.)
  
 -  Replaced cruise control stalk.  (2-year-old killed it.)
  
 -  Welded broken spring in driver's seat bottom.
  
 -  Glued and painted small tear on side bolster of driver's seat.
  
 -  New rubber boot inside shifter.
 
Still broken:
  -  Paint's getting a little tired.
  
 -  Need to repair netting on front seatbacks.
  
 -  Annoying engine drone at highway speeds.  Exhaust?
  
 -  RF window glass is scratched.  (Replacement in hand.)
  
 -  Sunroof.
  
 -  Glued grille is still ugly.
  
 -  Shifter bushings.
  
 -  IP delivery valve seals.  Other seals.
  
 -  Bad rear camber.  Spring pads?
  
 -  Leaking windshield.
